Traci Braxton Dies At The Age Of 50

 

            Traci Braxton, the younger sister of legendary Toni Braxton has died at the age of 50 after battling cancer of the esophagus. Traci had been privately undergoing treatment for about a year. The news of her cancer battle was made public by her husband Kevin Surratt.

 

            Traci appeared on the show Braxton Family Values that aired on WE tv along with her sisters. The program showcased their lives as celebrity sisters who were often compared to their sister Toni Braxton. Traci quickly became a fan favorite because she always had a down to earth attitude and didn’t take anyone’s nonsense.

 

            News of the stars death spread rapidly on social media and there has been a tremendous outpouring of condolences from fans and other celebrities. Toni Braxton took to Instagram and posted, “ Traci passed this morning as the snow was falling, our angel is now a snowflake.”

 

            Traci is survived by her mother and father, her husband Kevin Surratt, her son Kevin Surratt Jr., a brother and her sisters Toni, Tamar, Trina and Towanda. We learned that they were all by her side as she took her last breath. Condolences to the entire Braxton family.
